An introduction

So here I am... doing something I didn't really ever think I'd do: start a blog. I intend to mainly use this for posting musings on various subjects (first post is already being planned: social media vs. social life), although this could change with time... also, while I hope to offer fairly regular updates I make no promises in that regard.
