100 = 2*2*5*5 = 6^2 + 8^2 = C
100 is 5 times my age in years
Circle w/ circumference 100 units --> diameter = 31.831 units
Ok enough with the math. 100 is an interesting number... but not just because of some of the cool stuff you can do with it mathematically (did I mention that the number (49^2)-1 is evenly divisible by 100?). I've been working a lot the past week or so to de-clutter my room, and more generally my life. One of my friends (don't remember who) mentioned this cool thing called The 100 Thing Challenge that a lot of people have started doing the past few years. It started with one guy (named Dave... figured that one out from the website URL. I are uh geniuz!) who wanted to simplify and de-clutter his life, so he sold his personal belongings and pared them down to owning less than 100 things (thence the name. brilliant).
Guess what I'm working on right now.
Yep.
With a few exception/specification rules (school stuff doesn't count, all my socks count as one item, and a few others), my life is going to be significantly less cluttered pretty soon. There's just something addictive about getting rid of stuff...
Oh, and I almost forgot.
100 = (1^3) + (2^3) + (3^3) + (4^3)
100 = (2^6) + (6^2)
100 = minimum distance for a par 3 hole on a golf course
(Gosh I love Wolfram|Alpha and Wikipedia...)
