Random notes first:
1. Check out Tenth Avenue North. They did a great job opening for Jeremy Camp at the NC State Fair in '09, but I never really listened to them until this weekend. They're legit.
2. I hope you like the new blog layout. Just trying something different...
Now to the actual post...
It's November. More specifically, it's November 8th. This means that I have 14 days of classes plus 4 finals left between now and Christmas break... and Christmas break comes before the spring semester, which comes before the summer, which comes before my senior year, which leads to graduation in May 2012. I'm actively pursuing getting an internship for this next summer. If everything goes according to my ideal plan, this internship will turn into a part-time job during my senior year (when I'll only have 25 credit hours left to take) and then a full-time job after I graduate in 2012. To be starting to actively think about my post-graduation plans and entering the real world is kinda scary, especially considering that I can still remember my first week of classes like it happened a month ago, not almost 27 months ago... however, in the midst of this I'm reminded of the chorus of "Somebody's Watching" by TobyMac:
I always feel like somebody's watching me
(Watch baby, watch baby, He got my back,
See I'm down with the King so I got it like that)
Even when I don't know what's going on and I'm worrying about my day-to-day concerns, God is always watching me and will take care of me. And frankly this is a huge relief... because if there's one thing you need to know about me, it's that I ALWAYS have to know every last detail of what's going on. But He's got my back... so I don't necessarily have to know every last detail. Frankly, I probably won't. Time to see what He's got in store!
